United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR)

As a partner of the Children’s Environmental Health Collaborative, including the Partnership for Lead-Free Future, the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) is committed to the following activities:

  1. Advocate for prioritizing children’s environmental health in key international forums, including through joint co-branded communication and advocacy products, when feasible.
  2. Contribute research on the specific impacts of the unsound management of chemicals and waste on children’s health, and on how to protect children from these impacts.
  3. Provide analytical support and technical assistance to governments on children’s environmental health, when feasible.
  4. Participate in joint convenings and promote coherent approaches to protecting children environmental health.
