Welcome to the first newsletter for the Children's Environmental Health Collaborative. The Collaborative aims to mobilize international action to protect child health and development from the impacts of climate change and environmental degradation. UNICEF welcomes governments, international civil society and private sector partners to the Collaborative to unite efforts in advocacy, brokering knowledge and catalysing action. In this newsletter, information is available about a ministerial dialogue at the 77th World Health Assembly on lead, a technical note on how to protect children from extreme heat, a joint e-course from UNICEF and WHO on children's environmental health and much more.
