Guidelines on alternatives to highly hazardous pesticides (HHPs)

In almost all cases, pesticides, because of their intrinsic nature and wide use, have an undesirable impact on health and the environment. HHPs (a small proportion of pesticides used) have a disproportionately high negative impact on human health and/or the environment that may only become apparent after years of use. In July 2023, UNEP has published a Guidelines on Alternatives to Highly Hazardous Pesticides.
