Extreme heat: preparing for the heatwaves of the future

This joint report by the the International Federation of Red Cross (IFRC), United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN OCHA) and Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre provides a sobering review of how the increase in deadly heatwaves threatens to drive new emergency needs in the not-so-distant future.
