As a partner, the Department of Global Public Health at Karolinska Institutet is committed to protect children's health and development from the impacts of climate change and environmental degradation. 

As part of their contribution to the Collaborative, they commit to the following activities: 

  1. Advocate for prioritizing children’s environmental health in key international forums, including through joint co-branded communication and advocacy, when feasible and relevant.

  2. Contribute research on the specific and general impacts of climate change and environmental degradation on children’s health and sharing guidance, tools and best-practices to protect children from these impacts.

  3. Provide technical assistance, expertise and technical resources on children’s environmental health, when feasible and relevant.

  4. Participate in joint convenings and promote coherent approaches to protecting children environmental health.
