As a partner, Health Effects Institute is committed to provide research data and translation as related to health impacts in children from climate change and environmental degradation, specifically as related to air pollution. 

As part of their contribution to the Collaborative, they commit to the following activities:

  • Synthesis and communication of air pollution’s health impacts, particularly through the State of Global Air initiative, including through joint co-branded communication and research products, when feasible.
  • Contribution to research on the specific impacts of air pollution and climate change on children’s health and sharing scientific evidence, data and tools to protect children from these impacts.
  • Provision of technical assistance, expertise and technical resources on children’s environmental health with a special focus on air pollution and health.
  • Participation in joint convenings and promote coherent approaches to protecting children’s environmental health.
