Cambodia (Ministry of Health)

As a partner, Cambodia's Ministry of Health is committed to protecting children from the impacts of climate change and environmental degradation. As part of their contribution to the Collaborative, they commit to the following activities: 

  1. Advocate for prioritizing children's environmental health in key international forums, including through joint co-branded communication and advocacy products, when feasible.
  2. Contribute research on the specific impacts of climate change and environmental degradation on children's health and sharing guidance, tools and best practices to protect children from these impacts.
  3. Provide technical assistance, expertise and technical resources on children's environmental health.
  4. Participate in joint convenings and promote coherent approaches to protecting children's environmental health.
  5. Monitor the situation of children's environmental health through surveys and assessments where feasible in collaboration with partner support.
  6. Support health worker training and raising public awareness about environmental health risks and how to mitigate and protect against them.
